EXAMINATION STRUCTURE AND CONDUCT

Overview
As an independent recognized professional body with a globally standardized pathway and statutory rights, the Institute of Chartered Development Finance Analysts offers a professional qualification program structured into three sequential stages: Foundation Stage, Professional Stage I and Professional Stage II. The Institute brings unique benefits and an independent global qualification, together with the standards you would expect from a recognized professional body with a globally standardized pathway and statutory rights.

The professional program is delivered locally by accredited training providers and is flexible in structure and content, incorporating local case studies and examples while aligning with National Qualifications Framework requirements and standards. As a result, you obtain a globally transferable qualification that also supports professional recognition and career advancement.

Candidates who successfully pass the prescribed examinations and meet the qualifying experience requirements shall be admitted as full members and entitled to use the post-nominal designation Chartered Development Finance Analyst (CDFA) of the Institute of Chartered Development Finance Analysts.

EXAMINATION PERIOD
Examinations are held twice a year, April, and October. There is no order for the selection of courses for examination registration; candidates are however expected to complete one part or at least be left with one subject before proceeding to the next part.
